Bennington Bagel Company began in 2023 in Lauren and Steven’s apartment kitchen where a love of sourdough baking and a growing local following quickly turned a small home bakery experiment into something much bigger.

Today, Bennington Bagel Company is a neighborhood bagel shop at 25 Main Street in the heart of North Bennington. Since opening our doors in 2025, we’ve continued to grow while holding onto what made the business special from the beginning: carefully made food, friendly service, and the familiar faces of a small business rooted in the community it serves.

At the center of everything we do are our Vermont-style sourdough bagels. Hand-rolled, boiled, and baked. We pair them with house-whipped cream cheeses, thoughtfully chosen toppings, and a menu that mixes familiar favorites with rotating seasonal offerings inspired by local ingredients.

Whether you’re stopping in for your regular order, trying the newest seasonal special, or visiting us for the first time, you can expect great food, quality ingredients, friendly faces, and service that makes you feel welcome.
